Sloss Eckhouse Dasti Haynes LawCo LLP seeking Associate (New York, NY): Structure, draft, negotiate, and manage legal contracts and transactions in connection with the development, financing, production, distribution, and exploitation of film, television, and podcast projects. Negotiate and draft complex agreements covering all facets of development, financing, distribution, and production. Advise clients regarding necessary corporate structures and corporate steps required for compliance with various state corporate laws and for project efficiency. Draft and review corporate documents, including articles of incorporation, bylaws/operating agreements, member/manager/board consents, and certificates.
Requirements:At least a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or its foreign equivalent; at least one (1) year experience as an Associate or its equivalent; and at least one (1) year of experience drafting and reviewing complex corporate agreements, and conducting legal research. General knowledge of copyright law required. Demonstrated ability to work indepdendently as well as with a team. Strong written communication skills required.
